Andrea Boscagli’s Vini e Panini is legendary in Munich. For years now his regular customers have been making their way faithfully to his shop and to enjoy his famed lunch menu. Then they buy a few things for later: homemade antipasti, pasta and sauces.

How did it all begin? Back in the 1980s Andrea couldn’t find the ingredients he needed to feed his family as he had been taught in Italy … so he started to bring things with him: olive oil extra vergine, fresh herbs, durum wheat spaghetti, penne and farfalle, and tasty wines. At first, he supplied his own family, then friends and eventually everyone.
Time and again, Andrea is asked about his recipes: his rich Lasagne al Ragù, perfect risotto with asparagus, and his Polpettine al Limone, meatballs in a lemon sauce. They’re all here – easy to make at home, with plenty of helpful tips, and always delicious.
